One of several stick holders cut from a rare piece spalted American Yellowwood burl wood. The colors you see are the natural tones of the wood; no dyes or stain here. Just a clear, hand-rubbed gloss lacquer finish.
It holds three pair of sticks and a tuning key, with some of the stick visible in the burl voids. It mounts on top of a heavy base mic stand (sold separately), and can be placed anywhere near a drum kit or percussion instruments.
Not sure if or when we will be able to find more wood with this character. This may be it.
