This is one of a series of laminated stick holders using a combination of Walnut, Suriname Ironwood, and African Padauk. This is a solid wood design, no overlays. Note how it looks very different on each side, due to the sap wood and heart wood colors of the Ironwood. It's almost two different stick holders!
It holds 4-pair of sticks and a tuning key, and mounts on top of a heavy base mic stand (Stand sold separately). The finish is clear satin polyurethane, allowing the contrasting grain patterns of the different woods to show through.
