Another beautiful and very different Mappa Burl stick holder here. This holder is a stand top mounted 3-pair stick design with tuning key location.
Mappa Burl is the most interesting part of the European Black Poplar tree. It is a beautiful, rare, and expensive wood, and this piece is overloaded with character! From the small live-edge section with the stick showing through an opening in the bark, to the multiple, varying burl and grain patterns, there is a lot ot look at on this one. And the tobacco fade at one side provides a beautiful contrast and highlights the grain and natural color of the wood at the other side.
It mounts on top of a heavy base mic stand (an option below), and can be located anywhere near your percussion instruments or drum set for easy access to you sticks.
