OSGgs001 - Green Osage Root Section Guitar Stand
This is a very special guitar stand! It is made from a single piece of Osage from the root section. We looked at this piece for five years until figuring out what it needed to be. From the original tree, it is now turned 90 degrees as if the tree fell over, and one of the roots is sticking up in the air.
The wood comes from a special field in Oklahoma, where the trees were cut down many years ago, and the field was flooded to create a pond. When they drained it 60 years later, all the Osage stumps had absorbed minerals from the water, turning it a beautiful olive green.
This stand will hold an electric guitar handily. Probably not enough room in the cradle at the bottom to hold an acoustic guitar. coated in clear satin lacquer.
