Logwood is one of the most unusual trees in the World. It grows in the coastal swamp areas of Belize. Before analine dyes were created, the Logwood tree was used to make red dye for clothing. We are finding different ways to use it to create unique items for musicians!
This piece will hold 3-pairs of sticks, and a tuning key. And with the very flexible Pearl AX-25L clamp arm, it can be positioned and oriented wherever you might want a pair of sticks.
Satin lacquer is the only finish on this beautiful piece. The deep red heartwood and almost white sapwood are the natural colors, and with the stick holes penetrating the open areas, you can see the sticks "inside" the stick holder. We love Belize Logwood!
