Snakewood is stunningly beautiful, exceedingly rare, and very expensive! But the character is simply amazing! The "snake skin" patterns with the orange/brown color variations in the Snakewood is unique to this tree. And it is incredibly dense and hard; very difficult to drill and work. But when it is finally shaped and smooth, and the semi-gloss lacquer finish is applied, it results in one of the finest stick holders we've created.
