Here is another unusual piece; a Walnut harmonica stand. Our lead singer needed a place to hold his harps, microphone, etc, so we pulled out a nice live-edge Walnut slab, and created this very unique "table" to hold all of his gear. (If someone buys it, I'll have to make him another one...)
It stands 40 inches tall, and has pockets to hold nine harmonicas, a slot for a phone, and a center area for the mic, keys, etc. The stand is a very heavy base, with 1-1/8" steel tubing, to support the top. It can be dis-assembled for transportation if needed.
The Walnut is 3 inches thick, and about 15 inches across. It came from a stump that had been cut down a year before we found it, so there is plenty of character added to the wood from the beetles and bugs that lived in it for a while. (Yes, they are all gone now.) It is finished in clear polyurethane, allowing the natural color and character to show through.
