OSGc006 - Green Stained Osage 2-Pair Clamp Arm Mount Stick Holder
Green Osage Orange; definitely the most rare of woods we have ever found. To explain, Osage Orange is relatively common, found primarily in southern Oklahoma. But this comes from Osage tree stumps that were left in the ground, in a field that was flooded in the 1940's to create a pond. Osage is very hard and dense, and it does not rot. When the pond was drained recently, the outside parts of the bright yellow wood of the Osage stumps had been naturally and deeply "stained" by the minerals in the water.
This clamp mount design holds two pair of sticks and a tuning key. It has a lot of the orange/yellow coloration, with the green stain along the raw edge sides. The clamp arm will allow it to be placed anywhere you need it to provide quick access, and the clear satin lacquer finish shows all of the natural beauty of the wood.
