GHCRW004 - California Redwood Live-Edge Burl Guitar Hanger
California Redwood, our favorite of all trees, can yield beautiful pieces like this one. We picked this piece up while in California buying raw materials. We looked at it for a long time, figuring out what to make from it. After shaving down the flat areas you see, we found burl figure to go with the live-edges, and we were able to leave the natural 'hook' on it too for your guitar strap!
It has a Hercules hanger cradle that closes tightly when your guitar is placed in it. Three metal key-hole brackets are mounted on the back, all in a line to go on three screws you install in a wall stud in your studio. Pretty simple to hang, and no visible screws to detract from the beauty of the wood.
Satin lacquer finish is all that's needed, allowing the natural coloration and figure to show through.
