MSQt001 - Texas Mesquite Side Table
Here we have an amazing piece of art, that also serves a a very functional piece of furniture! This is a drum set side table that will hold your computer, phone, headphones, metronome, sticks, tuning key, etc, all within easy reach right next to your drum set.
Made from six pieces of Texas Mesquite, each custom fitted to the others, it is stunningly beautiful! Live edges everywhere, natural burned areas, worm holes, bark areas/inclusions, and more. So much to look at and take in.
The top is about 2" thick, 25" wide, and 12" deep; large enough to hold any laptop and more. The hook will hold headphones. It has a lower shelf, made from a piece that has an ants nest eaten by wood ants, adding another rustic cosmetic dimension to the table. The base was taken from a tree that had been burned, as evidenced by the burn hole next to the stick holder, and on the back lower edge.
The colors you see are the natural coloration of the wood. No dye, stain, or other colorants applied, simply a clear poly finish.
